Welcome to Our Website
Kircubbin Football club joined the highly esteemed Daily Mirror Northern Amateur Football League during the summer of 2004. Using a small base of locally produced talent, Kircubbin have managed to progress into Division 2B of the league, the second highest level currently achievable for clubs of Junior status. Looking to the future the club would like to progress even further, and hopefully with best wishes and support of the village we can push the club to the next level.
We are very grateful to the numerous local businesses for the generous sponsorship they have kindly donated over the years, and to the supporters who enjoy the Saturday afternoon entertainment every home game. Your continuing support is much needed and gratefully appreciated.
Many Thanks!

Charity Football Match
Kircubbin Football Club played their Annual Boxing Day Charity game over the Christmas break, with this year's proceeds going to Kircubbin Community Nursey School.
This year the opposing teams were made up of Man Utd supporters versus Liverpool and the rest. As usual a good crowd gathered to play in the game and to watch an entertaining spectacle. Both teams ended up with 16 man squads, with the teams inevitably changing regularly throughout the 90 minutes.
Liverpool took the lead early in the game when confusion between Declan Kelly and Brendan Masterson in goals gifted the Pool a one goal advantage. But Man Utd came back strongly and scored within minutes with a close range goal poked home at the near post by Adam Arthurs. Team manager Stephen Clarke was getting a rare appearance and he almost gave Utd the lead only for Chippy to tip the powerful shot onto the crossbar. Ten minutes later Stephen had another glorious chance to score, but Chippy again came to the Pool's rescue with a great block from close range. Turlough Bell, Vincent Finnegan, and Andy Bell all scored for the Liverpool team as they amassed a 3 goal lead. But Mick O'Prey gave the Utd supporters a lifeline with a sublime volley from the edge of the box. Gareth Johnston blazed a shot high over the bar with the open goal gaping, but he managed to score minutes later to give the Pool an unassailable 4 goal cushion. Brendan Masterson scored a penalty late on to make amends for his early mistake leaving the final score 5-3 in a very entertaining and enjoyable day.
Kircubbin FC would like to thank all those who took part and donated money to the worthy cause. £400 was raised on behalf of Kircubbin Community Nursery School.
